Let this image engage your muse. Write a paragraph, a short story, a poem, a memory, a journal entry…or whatever you feel inspired to create.

This is so beautiful! When I’m done writing about it, I’d like a copy to frame for my wall. 🙂

It’s such a dreamy image. And I’m a sucker for anything with swirls and stars.

I’m going to try something real quick (don’t make fun I usually don’t write poetry!):

It was a dark but peculiar night…
The cold and heavy winds made it hard for her to breathe.
Her eyes stead fast on the stars,
    Her thoughts, falling like leaves.

“Was this a dream?” she asked.
But no one was there to reply.
A howling sound echoed inside her head.
“If life’s but a dream, than why?”

I have no idea what it means, but it sounds trippy enough to suit the picture!

Kristin, I’m glad you love this image as much as I do! And even more glad it inspired you to write something!

Steven, I love your poem — and it fits beautifully with the picture. Thanks so much for sharing it here. It makes me happy when people share their creativity!
