Ride the Internet Back to the Past

It’s easy to lose a whole day at the Internet Archive, an online digital library.  This great resource features a “Wayback Machine” that catalogs older versions of webpages; public domain books, audio, television shows and films; vintage newsreels; classic cartoons and much more.

Thanks to writer Wendy Nelson Tokunaga for steering me toward this fun and informative site!

Could I use the Wayback machine to watch Mr. Peabody and his boy, Sherman? Because THAT would be time well spent. I could tell myself I was researching a possible story idea, not wasting hours reliving a childhood affinity for Rocket J. Squirrel.

Fan mail from some flounder? Time with Rocket J. Squirrel is always time well spent, as far as I’m concerned.

Thanks again, Wendy! I need about a month of free time to really explore it the way I want to.
